Visit

With chic cafes and a superb range of boutiques, harbourside parks and relaxing pubs, Double Bay is a great place for a day out.

There's no better place to spend a summer's day than at the Double Bay waterfront: reclining at Redleaf Pool, picnicking in Steyne Park, or sinking a cold one at the Australian 18 Footers Club. No matter what the weather, there's plenty to see and do, from the daily bridge tournaments at the Grand Slam Bridge Centre to the creative gems found in our local art galleries.

Best of all, getting here couldn't be more simple.

Just 10 minutes from the heart of the city, Double Bay offers plenty of parking, and is easily accessible by public transport. Take the scenic route, with a short ferry ride from Circular Quay; hop on the 324, 325, or 327 buses, or take the train to Edgecliff Station, from where it's an easy downhill stroll to the heart of the Bay.
